Sorry, I don’t know anything about Kunsan or the AFB (air force base?). Knitting supplies are close to the same amount, though Japanese yarn is more expensive. I haven’t seen an interchangeable bamboo needle set (or any interchangeable sets). I’m not sure if they’re popular, probably not. Usually it’s easiest to find circulars in small sizes with long cords, and anything aside from that is more of a challenge, in my area at least.

I am trying to find out whether or not there are knitting supply stores/yarnshops in Kunsan near the AFB there. I have a daughter-in-law stationed there. Are supplies, such as needles and yarn, cheaper in Korea, or should I just shop on the web? What I am interested in is finding an interchangeable bamboo needle set with a variety of cable lengths. The ones I have found are nearly a hundred dollars and out of my price range. Since she can ship using APO rates, it wouldn’t cost much to send. I enjoyed reading your blogs!

Soleil looks wonderful. Great to know about the armhole size as that is normally a problem for me with sleeveless items.
