I was developing a serious aversion during the second-last one, but the last one was actually kind of fun. I think it’s because the second-last one is black, and sometimes hard to see:
That one has the Tree of Life pattern from Vogue Stitchionary Vol 2. I’ve got gold embroidery on the branch tips so far, but it’s not quite done yet I don’t think.
The above one is Twisted Taffy, from the same book. I was working on embroidering all but the last one yesterday, so now I can add the blue one to the pool. Fortunately, I have more gold and silver than I thought, so I should be able to come up with something interesting. Then I have the fabric lining, which is the easiest bit, to be sewn in.
I love knitting Christmas stockings. Lots of room for creativity, and you only have to make one! No second sock syndrome, uh-uh. I really like your Tree of Life stocking.
