Since I’m moving on the 26th, I’m making an effort to have most of my projects off the needles before the move. I still have the Alice sweater and thought I had the sleeve done, but there are lots of ladders on it from using DPNs. Blocking and washing didn’t get them out, so I’m probably going to have to do them again, maybe on two needles this time. I’d rather use two needles and seam then use DPNs and have the ladders.
There’s also Tuscany that I’m still working on, with Bernat Satin in a burgundy colour. It’s coming out nicely, it’s just taking a long time to finish.
Speaking of finishing:
These are Newfoundland Mitts, the blue is Vanna’s Choice in Dusty Blue (which is a great yarn for this. It’s nice to begin with, but after washing they came out very soft). The white/silver is acrylic from Value Village, it’s a brand that I’ve never seen before called Hayfield Memories. Probably discontinued.
They look small compared to all the other finished mitts I’ve seen like this, but that’s because my hands are little. Most adult mitts are too big for me, it’s nice to have something that fits.

Very Nice. Small hands make great mitts!
